The state government has issued orders to release dearness allowance at the rate of 58 percent to over 2.50 lakh employees before Diwali. Employees will receive cash payments of DA from July 1st to October 31st. In addition, non-gazetted employees will receive the benefit of a bonus. The Finance Department has issued orders in this regard. The state government has gifted employees with bonus and dearness allowance before Diwali. The employees’ wait is over. The central government has decided to provide 3 percent DA to employees, revising the DA rate from 55 percent to 58 percent from July 1st, 2025. The decision to release bonus and DA to employees before Diwali was taken. The State Employees Joint Council had requested Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to release the bonus and DA before Diwali. Additional Secretary Finance Dr. Ahmed Iqbal stated that the process for bonus and DA was ongoing at the government level. Following this, the announcement of the release of bonus and dearness allowance was made today.
