PM Narendra Modi in Gujarat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his visit with a grand roadshow in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, on Saturday. PM Modi arrived at Gandhi Maidan amid a welcome from thousands of people. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth โน34,200 crore. Afterward, PM Modi addressed the public gathering on a number of issues. Emphasizing schemes like “Samudra Se Samriddhi,” PM Modi spoke about self-reliant India and the adoption of Swadeshi.
Taking aim at Congress too
PM Narendra Modi also targeted Congress during the meeting. He said that India has no shortage of potential, but after independence, Congress ignored the country’s capabilities. He said that even after 6-7 decades of independence, India has not achieved the success it deserves.

PM Modi cited two main reasons for this: First, Congress kept the country entangled in the license-quota raj for a long time and isolated it from global markets. Second, when the era of globalization arrived, only imports were adopted, and a series of scams began. The Prime Minister said that Congress’s policies caused the greatest harm to the country’s youth and prevented India’s true strengths from being revealed. He stressed that now is the time for India to become self-reliant and stand strong before the world.
