Uttarkashi: A woman who had gone to collect grass in the forest died after falling from a hill. Lajja Devi (56) of Tunalka village in Naugaon block of Uttarkashi had gone to cut grass on a hill near the village. Suddenly a boulder and debris fell from above and the woman got caught in it and fell into a deep ditch.
On receiving the information, villagers and SDRF personnel reached the spot. After this, the body was taken out of the ditch. The police have started further action by preparing a Panchnama of the body.
