Chamoli: Preparations for Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra are going on in full swing in Uttarakhand. The government has intensified efforts to improve the traffic system in Chamoli-Karnprayag area. To fulfill the announcement of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on time, land has been identified by the tehsil administration for parking construction at three places. Due to which people will get relief from jam in the coming days. Also, Chamoli-Karnprayag area is the main center of Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra.
You will get relief from jam: It is worth noting that among the identified places, the first place is the land of village Bhedgaon (Tehsil Karnaprayag) adjacent to the Badrinath National Highway in front of Karna Temple in Karnaprayag town, which has been proposed for parking construction. The second parking location is near Simli motor road, the land of village Peepalsera (Revenue Sub Inspector area Simli) adjacent to Karnaprayag-Gwaldam National Highway has been identified for parking construction and for the third parking, near Kankhul taxi stand, the land of village Karnaprayag (Tehsil Karnaprayag) adjacent to Rishikesh-Karnprayag-Badrinath National Highway has been identified for multi-storey parking construction. Which is on the banks of Pindar river.
People will get convenience: Parking construction has been proposed keeping in mind public interest and various religious events, especially Nanda Devi Raj Jat. District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that parking will be constructed at all three sites in the interest of the general public, so that local residents, traders and travelers can get easy parking facility. He said that photographs of the identified sites are being prepared and sent to the government and the necessary process is in progress.
