Chamoli:-A major road accident took place near Gholteer on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway in Rudraprayag district on Thursday morning. A tempo-traveler of the passengers going for Badrinath Darshan got out of control and fell directly into the Alaknanda river. There were 19 people in the vehicle, including the driver. 17 people belonged to one family.
