Rudrapur:-The Rudrapur district administration has started the action of demolition of the illegal construction on the land of sealing and Najul. A joint team of administration, municipal corporation, district development authority and police demolished 24 illegal constructions in Preet Vihar, Fazilpur Mehraula and Paharganj.
At 11 am on Wednesday, the team led by SDM Kichha Kaustubh Mishra, Suburban Commissioner Shipra Joshi, CO BS Dhoni and Tehsildar Dinesh Kutaula reached Preet Vihar with three JCB machines. The team, with the help of JCB, demolished the foundation built at 12 places on the sealing land in Preet Vihar and Fazilpur Mehraula and the construction being done on it. Construction materials were also removed during this period. In the operation that lasted till two o’clock, the team only demolished the buildings under construction.
The team reached Paharganj at 3.30 pm and started demolishing the construction on the land of Najul with JCB. The woman also expressed anger in front of the team that arrived to break a foundation. During this time, a crowd of people gathered but the police force did not even allow them to shoot near the action site. The team also demolished 12 constructions in Paharganj. It also included three large warehouse-like buildings and was full of junk. The team returned on Thursday, saying that action would be taken.
Illegal construction by making police cantonment
After two days of marking, the administration arrived with full preparation to carry out the demolition action. The force of seven police stations, including Rudrapur, as well as two platoon PACs were also called. The area where illegal constructions were being demolished was being made a police cantonment. Seeing the heavy police force, people could not even muster the courage to protest.
SDM sir! Listen to me… The woman cried saying
The JCB had reached with the team to break the foundation built illegally on Najul’s land in Paharganj. Meanwhile, a woman was present. He shouted that SDM sir! Listen to me… But the police personnel removed the woman from there. The woman said that after fighting a legal battle for seven years, the husband had divorced her and with the expenses received in the divorce, she had bought the land on a stamp for Rs six and a half lakh. First the husband tortured her and now the government is oppressing. He had bought the land by paying money. The woman kept pleading for some time and then left with the family members.
Najul land deal is going on on stamp
Large-scale purchase of land on stamps is taking place at all places in Rudrapur city. The people engaged in this Gorakh Dhandha made a profit and the action of the administration is hitting the land buyers on the stamp. The administrative machinery remained sluggish until the land was sold on the stamp and the illegal construction took place.
In fact, the court has ordered to maintain the status quo on the sealing land in Fazilpur Mehraula and Preet Vihar. Despite this, the sealing land is secretly purchased and built. Apart from this, the purchase of Najul’s land on stamps has been going on for a long time in many places including Paharganj, Rampura, Bhootbangla, Kheda. Large-scale illegal construction has taken place along with the sale of land in the most riverside areas. Apart from this, the land of the donation box is also sold and bought in large numbers in the transit camp. Many white collars are also involved in the lands. If the district administration takes action, there is a disturbance among those who buy land illegally. There is a fear of snatching the people who invest capital in the circle of cheap land.
There is input to the administration that a gang is active in the purchase of land of the stamp. A detailed investigation is underway to which people the gang settled and sold the lands on government lands. Police, District Development Authority, Municipal Corporation and Revenue Department are investigating at their own levels. It is not being settled by bringing people from outside with a deliberate strategy, it is also being tested. Purchase fixed land and get the registry and filing rejected. – Kaustubh Mishra, SDM, Kichha
