Panic ensued at HPM Infotech, a company located in the industrial zone, when a massive fire suddenly broke out. The facility manufactures components for electric fans, and within moments, the blaze escalated into a raging inferno. Upon receiving the alert, teams from the local police and the fire department rushed to the scene and immediately began efforts to bring the situation under control.
According to reports, the fire spread rapidly, creating an atmosphere of panic in the surrounding area. Four fire tenders arrived at the site and, after a strenuous effort lasting nearly two hours, successfully brought the fire under control. FSO Birbal Singh stated that the fire originated in a pile of scrap material lying outside the company premises and subsequently spread to the interior of the building.
He further noted that, as Sunday was a holiday, no employees were present at the facility; consequently, there have been no reports of any casualties or loss of life. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. Concerned officials are currently monitoring the situation and assessing the extent of the damage.
