Officials of the Irrigation Department of UP are constantly monitoring the water level of Ganga and the water level of Ganga is being reported every hour in the lower districts. SDO Canal Bharat Bhushan Sharma said that due to continuous rain in the mountains, a large amount of silt had come into the Ganga canal, due to which the water of the Ganga canal has been stopped, as soon as the silt is removed, water will be released in the Ganga canal.
