Haldwani: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at Army Helipad Haldwani on Friday. Also inquired about his well-being. Vice President Dhankhar reached Haldwani before leaving for Delhi after concluding his three-day stay in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmeet Singh was also present on this occasion.
During this meeting held at the helipad premises, important issues related to the state and various development schemes were discussed in detail. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Vice President for his arrival in Uttarakhand and said that his visit has given new energy and inspiration to the state. The Vice President appreciated the rich cultural heritage, military tradition and efforts being made towards sustainable development of Uttarakhand. On this occasion, the Chief Minister presented various products of the umbrella brand House of Himalayas of local products of Uttarakhand to the Vice President as a gift.
After this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Governor Gurmeet Singh jointly conducted an aerial survey of the Jamrani Dam project and reviewed the progress of the construction works. On this occasion, MP Ajay Bhatt; MLA Sarita Arya; Mayor Gajraj Bisht; Minister of State Deepak Mehra; Commissioner/Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Rawat; IG Riddhim Aggarwal; District Magistrate Vandana; Senior Superintendent of Police P.N. Meena; and other officials were present.
