The state government is set to formally launch the ‘Chief Minister’s Youth Future Building Scheme-2026’ (Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026) to help the youth of Uttarakhand better prepare for competitive examinations. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has already approved this significant scheme.
Under this scheme, students pursuing higher education in the state’s universities, as well as government and government-aided colleges, will be provided with free online coaching for various competitive examinations. These include UPSC, State Public Service Commission, CDS, Banking, Railways, and SSC exams, alongside prestigious tests such as CAT, MAT, GATE, NET, and CSIR-NET.
The primary objective of this initiative is to provide quality guidance and study material to the state’s youth—particularly those in remote mountainous areas—right at their doorsteps. This will ensure equal opportunities for advancement for meritorious young people who might otherwise be unable to afford expensive coaching due to financial constraints.
Chief Minister Dhami will soon finalize the launch date for the scheme, following which the online coaching process for students will formally commence.
