143 police officers and employees will be honored on Independence Day. Out of these, 16 personnel will be given the Chief Minister’s Commendable Service Medal, out of which seven will be given this honor on the basis of service and nine for special work. All the remaining officers and employees will be given DGP Disc Gold and Silver.
They will also be given these honors on the basis of service and for special work. DGP Deepam Seth said that for the selection of personnel, committees were formed first at the district, then at the range and finally at the police headquarters level. On the basis of these, personnel have been selected from all the wings and units of the police.
