Dehradun: The month of August has brought golden hope for thousands of unemployed youth of Uttarakhand. After a long wait, the race for government jobs is finally going to start. Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission is going to conduct 4 big examinations this month. Which includes recruitment of police, animal husbandry, horticulture and other departments.
This month will be very special for the youth who dream of getting a government job in the state. This is because this month recruitment examination is going to be held in relation to the vacant posts under various departments in the state. Although the program of various examinations has been fixed till the month of December, but in the month of August, Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission has made preparations to conduct maximum 4 examinations.
Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission has to conduct four examinations in the month of August. This includes the posts of Junior Assistant in Police Department, Laboratory Assistant, Mushroom Supervisor, Photographer, Graduate Assistant, Pattern Assistant and Scientific Assistant.
Written examination is to be held on 3 August for the post of constable in the Police Department. This is a big recruitment for the unemployed youth in the state. This is because this examination is to be conducted for 2000 posts in the department. For this, the physical efficiency test has already been conducted. The special thing is that this recruitment to the post of constable in the police department is already judicially stuck. However, the court has not stayed the recruitment process. That is why the written examination is being conducted by the commission for the post of constable. The result of this examination will not be declared till the final order of the court comes.
The second examination is to be held on August 18 for Junior Assistant and other posts in the month of August. This examination will be in the form of typing. Earlier, a written examination has been conducted for this. In this, advertisement for about 465 vacant posts of Junior Assistant was issued in October 2024. For which written examination was conducted in January this year.
Exams for Laboratory Assistant and Mushroom Supervisor Class 3 are also to be held this month. This examination is to be conducted for the vacant posts of Laboratory Assistant Chemistry, Botany, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry Department. Under advertisement number 68, advertisement was issued for a total of 241 vacant posts in these various departments. On which written examination is now being conducted. In this, examination has been proposed on 31 August 2025 for Photographer, Graduate Assistant, Model Assistant and Scientific Assistant.
Through these four examinations in the month of August, unemployed people will get a chance to get government jobs on more than 2500 posts. In this way, the month of August has brought better employment opportunities for unemployed youth. If we look at the coming months this year, two examinations are to be conducted in the month of September as well. Similarly, two examinations are to be conducted in the month of October as well. An examination will be conducted for some posts in November.
