The Directorate of Education will decide the menu of the students of Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalayas in the state so that they get nutritious and quality food. According to the Director of Education, Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, the Education Minister has given instructions in this regard.
According to the Director of Education, earlier Rs 75 per student per day was given for food for the students of Navodaya. Which was increased to Rs 150, but due to the tender being low, there are complaints of students not getting nutritious and quality food. In view of which it has been decided that the menu for this will be decided at the Directorate level. Which will be inspected from time to time by the CEO of the district and the concerned BEO.
