Ganesh Joshi, Cabinet Minister of Uttarakhand Government, today enquired about the condition of the injured in the unfortunate stampede incident on the stairs of Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families. Six people died in this accident, while many other devotees were injured.
Minister Ganesh Joshi reached the spot and hospital and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured and assured them of all possible help. He directed the officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured and provide them all kinds of medical facilities immediately.
The Cabinet Minister said that the state government stands with the affected families in this sad hour. He said that after the instructions of Chief Minister Dhami, he has reached Haridwar and on behalf of the government, financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each will be provided to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured
