Luxor: A cunning criminal history sheeter was roaming around disguised as a mad person. He has been arrested by the police. During interrogation, it was found that the accused is a history sheeter from Uttar Pradesh. A case has been registered against him under the relevant sections and he has been sent to jail after being produced before the court.
Railways Superintendent of Police Tripti Bhatt has given instructions to monitor the suspects and arrest anti-social elements during the Kanwar Yatra. Regarding this, Roorkee GRP outpost in-charge Preeti Karnawal went on patrol on the platform along with Head Constable Satveer Singh, Anirudh Tyagi and Constable Abhishek. During this, the activities of a mentally ill person roaming on the platform seemed suspicious to them. After keeping an eye on his activities for a long time, the police caught him.
On searching, a knife was recovered from him. During interrogation, the accused told his name as Abhishek Shukla, resident of Kumharan Tola, Police Station Gola Gokarnath, District Lakhimpur Kheri, UP. When GRP contacted UP police, it was found that the accused is a history-sheeter of UP police. Several cases are registered against him under serious sections. He has been banished from the district by UP police. Sanjay Sharma, Laksar GRP SHO said that a case was registered against the accused and he was presented in the court. From where the accused has been sent to jail.
