Laksar: A constable seriously injured in a police vehicle hit by a truck during a raid has died during treatment. Silence has spread in the village after the constable’s death.
Constable Dhanraj, posted in Nanakmatta, was cremated in a sombre atmosphere in his native village Raisi in Laksar tehsil. The guard who arrived from the police line saluted him.
Dhanraj Singh, son of Satveer Singh, a resident of Raisi in Laksar, was recruited as a constable in the police department in the year 2023. He was currently posted at Nanakmatta police station. On July 4, during a raid in a case, a truck hit a police vehicle. Dhanraj, injured in the accident, was admitted to a hospital in Rudrapur. Where he died.
When Dhanraj’s body reached the village, the atmosphere became sombre. The youngest Dhanraj’s father Satveer Singh, mother Babli Devi, brother Mohit and sister Nidhi were inconsolable. The villagers also looked sad. The guard from the police line gave the last salute to his body. After this, the body was cremated in a sad atmosphere.
