Rishikesh: A massive fire broke out in a wedding point located in Ganganagar area of Rishikesh early on Friday. The fire broke out due to a short circuit at four in the morning. At the time of the incident, six people were sleeping in the wedding point. A large number of cloth tents and foam chairs were kept in the wedding point, due to which the fire took a monstrous form quickly.
In the accident, four vehicles were completely burnt in the fire. The fire was so fierce that its flames started reaching the nearby houses. The panicked people first took out the gas cylinders from their houses.
