Dehradun: The government has given great relief to the officers and employees of the state amidst the problems of biometric attendance. As an alternative, employees will be able to mark their attendance based on Aadhaar from their mobile. Its standard operating procedure (SOP) has been issued by the Secretariat administration.
From May 1, on the orders of Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, the rule of biometric attendance was strictly implemented in government offices across the state. Due to technical problems in the Secretariat, officers and employees were not able to mark their attendance. Meanwhile, an order was also issued to take action against those who come late to the office.
Facial recognition system implemented
In the Secretariat premises, officers and employees were not able to mark their biometric attendance due to problems in the Aadhaar site, IP addresses being changed by Swan, and RD. The system of facial recognition has been implemented as an alternative to biometric attendance. With this, the employee will be able to mark his attendance from his mobile itself. For this, he will have to download Aadhar Base and Aadhar Face RD app from Google Play Store or Apple Store in his mobile
You will have to create your login ID on this. For registration in Aadhar Base, first choose your state Uttarakhand in the domain. After this, enter your password. After your ID is created, you will see the entry point of North Block Ground, CM Building, CS Building, SBI Building written. Choose any one of these. After this, upload your photo. Your attendance will be marked.
