The Doon Police has successfully solved the cow slaughter case in the Vikasnagar area by arresting six accused involved in the illegal act. The police recovered two choppers, two sharp khukris, animal slaughtering equipment, and two wooden blocks used in the crime.
According to reports, the accused captured stray animals roaming on the banks of the Yamuna River, took them to the forest, and slaughtered them illegally for commercial purposes. The accused have previous criminal records, including cow slaughter, NDPS Act violations, and theft.
