The state government’s ‘Uttarakhand of My Dreams’ campaign has received overwhelming support from students. A total of 267,744 students from classes 11 and 12 across the state shared their ideas in the form of essays on eight themes, including tourism, employment, education, health, technology, and the environment.
Participation was 100% in the districts of Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, and Chamoli. The essays are currently being evaluated by experts, and the results will be announced on September 16.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will personally interact with the top 140 students selected under the campaign, and their ideas will be shared with senior government officials. These meritorious students will receive career guidance, support for competitive examinations, and special incentives. All participants have also been awarded digital certificates.
Chief Minister Dhami stated that the practical suggestions offered by the youth would be incorporated into the state’s policies and development plans.
