The Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) has taken several significant decisions to make its online map approval system more transparent, technically robust, and time-bound. Vice-Chairman Banshidhar Tiwari has instructed officials to immediately rectify technical glitches.
Key Decisions:
• 399 Files: 399 files that were automatically ‘Auto-Rejected’ or ‘Deemed Approved’ due to technical errors will be cancelled, and applicants will be required to resubmit them.
• Alerts and Notifications: Officials will receive pop-ups, notifications, and alerts before deadlines expire to ensure the timely disposal of files.
• Prevention of Duplicate Files: Technical flaws in the system will be rectified to prevent the creation of duplicate files for the same application.
• Data Security and AI: Measures such as dedicated servers and secure backups will be implemented for cybersecurity, and an AI-based search system will be developed to expedite record management.
• Financial Transparency: Daily reconciliation of financial entries will be conducted, and pending balance sheets will be updated on a priority basis
