On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan hoisted the national flag at the Collectorate complex. During the ceremony, officials and staff saluted the national flag while the national song and national anthem were played, and they reaffirmed their commitment to the nation’s unity and integrity.
Extending his best wishes to everyone, the District Magistrate remarked that freedom was attained through immense sacrifices, and it is the responsibility of all to safeguard it. He urged the staff to uphold complete dedication, honesty, and transparency in public service so that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach the last person in the chain.
The ceremony was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Smrita Parmar, City Magistrate Rakesh Tiwari, SDM (Sadar) Apoorva Singh, and Chief Personal Officer Virendra Singh, along with numerous officials and employees from the Collectorate and the District Information Office.
