The ‘Wild Summer Fest’ commenced today at Doon’s Lachhiwala Nature Park. Running until June 15th, this festival promises to be a delightful blend of nature and adventure. The summer carnival offers something special for people of every age group.
Forest Range Officer Medhavi Kirti stated that the Wild Summer Fest has been launched specifically for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Its objective is to bring tourists and local residents—particularly children—closer to nature.
In the Adventure Zone, rock climbing and various other adventure sports activities will be organized for thrill-seekers. Meanwhile, the Nature Trail offers a unique experience of walking amidst the tranquility of the forest.
Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy water sports along the banks of the Song River and learn the art of creating eco-friendly crafts in the Eco-Crafts section. Furthermore, families can enjoy boating together. The festival will remain open to tourists daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
