A dispute has emerged in the city over the throwing of water balloons during Holi. An altercation between two groups on Chakrata Road led to a fight, which also involved vandalism. Both parties have filed a complaint with the police, based on which a case has been registered.
According to the police, Deepak, son of Jagmer Singh, was with his friend Akshay on Chakrata Road yesterday. During this time, he and Man Anand, son of Shammi Anand, resident of 145 Luniya Mohalla, got into an argument over throwing water balloons. The altercation quickly escalated into a fight between the two groups.
Following the incident, both parties filed separate applications at the Kotwali Nagar. The police have registered a case based on the complaint. The investigation is ongoing, and the police say that further action will be taken against the accused based on the investigation.
