Following the formation of the State Minority Education Authority, curriculum preparation has begun. According to Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, Special Secretary of the Minority Welfare Department, the Chairman and members of the Authority will meet with the Governor and Chief Minister after Holi.
According to the Special Secretary of the Department, the Chairman and members of the State Minority Education Authority have assumed office and begun preparing the curriculum for religious education. The Authority will determine which religious texts children studying in madrasas will be able to study. Furthermore, all madrasas will be required to obtain affiliation with the Uttarakhand Board. Only madrasas that meet the prescribed standards will be granted affiliation.
Complaints Received Regarding Madrasas
Numerous complaints have been received regarding madrasas in the state. The State Child Welfare Council, as well as the National Child Welfare Council, have previously conducted surprise inspections of these madrasas. Following the findings of deficiencies, some madrasas were sealed
