All four accused were arrested on February 20th afternoon while protesting at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan. Protest by Removing T-Shirts
According to Delhi Police, prior to their arrest, there was a scuffle with police, in which three policemen were injured. According to Delhi Police, these protesters had initially planned to enter the AI Summit venue carrying black umbrellas and printed stickers. However, fearing arrest, these protesters changed their plan and arrived wearing T-shirts with printed messages. Over the T-shirts, these protesters wore sweaters and jackets. Later, upon reaching Hall 5 of Bharat Mandapam, these protesters removed their T-shirts and began waving them in the air.
