If the land allocated for setting up industries is not used for three years, the allocation will be canceled. However, the lessee will have the right to sublease the land, allocated on lease through the Industrial Development Department with the consent of the Revenue Department, for the same purpose.
1354.14 acres of land at Prag Farm in Udham Singh Nagar district was transferred to SIDCUL for developing an industrial area. According to the previously issued order, the lessee would not have the right to sell, lease, or transfer the allocated land to any individual, institution, or organization in any other way.
However, the government has now granted the lessee the right to sublease the land, allocated on lease through the Industrial Development Department with the consent of the Revenue Department, for the same purpose. The land must be utilized within a period of three years from the date of allocation. Failure to utilize the land will result in the cancellation of the allocation.
