In Barkot, a bear suddenly attacked a woman, severely injuring her. Local villagers rushed the woman to the Barkot Community Health Center, where doctors began treating her.
The Forest Department’s Rawain Range, Upper Forest Division, Barkot, reported that in the morning, Amra Devi, wife of Gajendra Singh, a resident of Barkot village, was suddenly attacked by a bear in the Noniayali area. The woman sustained injuries in the attack. The forest officer stated that after providing initial treatment and based on the doctors’ advice, the woman was referred to a higher medical center. A Forest Department team has been deployed in the area.
Meanwhile, Dr. Angad Singh Rana, in charge of the Community Health Center, said that the woman had suffered serious head injuries. As a precaution, the injured woman has been referred to a higher medical center in Dehradun
