Uttarakhand’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Ganesh Joshi, departed today for Guwahati, Assam, on a two-day visit. Minister Joshi will be representing Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at a national conference organized by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
The two-day national conference, being held in Guwahati on January 8th and 9th, will focus on detailed discussions regarding a shared action plan for the sustainable growth of the Indian textile industry, strengthening global competitiveness, and improving coordination between the central and state governments.
Ministers from various states across the country, senior officials, industry experts, and representatives from the textile sector will participate in the conference. Important topics related to policy reforms, innovation, investment opportunities, and job creation will be discussed. During the conference, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi will present Uttarakhand’s perspective and highlight the potential of the state’s textile and handicraft sector on the national platform
