The plains are once again likely to experience biting cold due to fog. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog on December 24th in Dehradun, as well as in parts of Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Champawat, and Pauri districts. This could lead to cold day conditions in Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, and Nainital districts.
Looking ahead, the weather will remain dry across the state until December 27th. Rain and snowfall are possible in the hilly districts on December 28th and 29th
