A man was seriously injured in a bear attack and was admitted to Shri Dev Suman Government Sub-District Hospital in Narendra Nagar with the help of local residents.
According to information, at around 9:30 AM, Vijendra (25), son of Prem Singh, a resident of Kaddu Khal in Chalad village under the Agra Khal outpost of Narendra Nagar police station, was bringing his goat to Agra Khal when he was attacked by two bears. Due to his strong physique, Vijendra managed to grab one bear by the neck and throw it away. However, the second bear then attacked him, inflicting serious injuries to his neck, shoulder, and back.
Hearing his screams, local villagers and his companions rushed to the scene, by which time the bears had fled. The injured man was taken to Shri Dev Suman Government Sub-District Hospital by ambulance, where he received treatment and his condition is now reported to be out of danger. Upon receiving information about the incident, Tehsildar Narendra Nagar Ayodhya Prasad Uniyal, Forest Range Officer Vivek Joshi, and Sub-Divisional Forest Officer Narendra Nagar Diganth Nayak reached the spot
