Ten proposals were presented in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dhami. An agreement was reached to table an account of environmental protection. The creation of new posts in the Prosecution Department was approved. A decision was also taken to create an additional 46 Assistant Prosecution Officer positions.
The Energy Department’s annual report for 2022-23 was tabled in the cabinet meeting. Women workers are free to work from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Security will be provided after their written consent. This is a matter for the Labor Department.
Three sections of the Shops and Establishments Ordinance will be amended. This will not affect small establishments. Larger establishments will have to implement the rules. A decision was made to re-examine the case of Udayraj Inter College, Kashipur, and others in the Education Department. An additional pay increase in the selection promotion pay scale was examined. The cabinet reached consensus on the Neo Metro in Dehradun. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has provided some recommendations, which were agreed to be incorporated.
