There is currently little hope of relief from the dry cold in Uttarakhand. Consequently, frost in the mountains and fog in the plains will not only increase the cold but also cause problems. The maximum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal, while the minimum temperature was 8.4 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal.
