Patna: Following the landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, the NDA Legislature Party met today. MLAs from all five parties elected Nitish Kumar as leader. The NDA Legislature Party met in the Central Hall of the Assembly, unanimously electing Nitish Kumar as leader. BJP Legislature Party leader Samrat Chaudhary proposed his name, which everyone agreed to. What did Prem Kumar say?: Minister Prem Kumar, who has been elected MLA for the ninth consecutive term from the BJP, said that Nitish Kumar has been unanimously elected as the NDA Legislature Party leader. He has gone to Raj Bhavan with NDA representatives to stake claim to form the government. Before staking claim, he will recommend dissolving the current cabinet, and a grand swearing-in ceremony will be held tomorrow at Gandhi Maidan. BJP-JDU elect their respective leaders: Earlier today, the JDU and BJP held separate legislative party meetings. The BJP legislative party meeting took place in the Atal Auditorium of the BJP office. Samrat Chaudhary was elected leader and Vijay Kumar Sinha was elected deputy leader. Meanwhile, the JDU Legislature Party met at the Chief Minister’s residence. Nitish Kumar was unanimously elected leader of the JDU. Swearing-in ceremony at Gandhi Maidan: The NDA won a landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, winning 202 out of 243 seats. Consequently, Nitish Kumar will once again be sworn in as Chief Minister on November 20th at Gandhi Maidan. The cabinet, which will include the Prime Minister and the Chief Ministers of 16 states, is being finalized. The cabinet structure is being finalized.
