Ahmedabad: Following the Delhi bomb blasts and the arrest of three terrorists from Gujarat, the state police has gone on alert. Following the incident, several suspected locations across the state were searched and the investigation into the case has been expanded. Strict orders have been issued to prepare dossiers of suspects involved in the incident over the past 30 years in the state. This entire process has been asked to be completed within 100 hours.
State Police Chief Vikas Sahay has now ordered all police stations to investigate those arrested for anti-national activities in Gujarat over the past 30 years. He has also directed the police to complete this entire process within 100 hours.
State Police Chief Vikas Sahay announced in a video message that on November 8, the Gujarat ATS detained three anti-national elements and seized weapons and ammunition from them. The next day, legal action was taken against anti-national elements in Faridabad, and the same day a bomb blast occurred in Delhi.
Taking this entire incident into account, the Gujarat Police was alerted, and through a video conference, all police stations in the state of Gujarat were instructed to immediately investigate all cases filed against anti-national elements in various police stations in Gujarat over the past 30 years.
He further stated that this process is being carried out by the local police. Every police station has been requested and instructed to complete this entire investigation and verification process within the next 100 hours.
