New Delhi: The Bihar Assembly election results, which appear to show a clear majority for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), have now drawn reactions from several Delhi BJP leaders. Delhi BJP State President Virendra Sachdeva visited the party office and distributed sweets with senior party leaders. He described the BJP and NDA’s victory as a triumph of “development politics” and asserted that people across the country continue to trust Prime Minister Modi.
Virendra Sachdeva said that Bihar has chosen the NDA’s all-round development, that women have chosen a better future for their families, and that both educated and hardworking youth have rejected the tenth-grade-failed opposition. Amit Shah’s policies have been successful in strengthening the NDA’s organizational structure and giving it a new direction. In Bihar, the state of Chanakya, Amit Shah has once again proven himself a Chanakya in handling the organizational aspects of politics. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta congratulated the people of Bihar and said that they have chosen the path of development for themselves. She called it “a victory of the faith in development in the reality of Bihar” and praised the progress made in Bihar under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra said, “This victory is Modi’s victory, the victory of Modi’s direct connection with the people, the victory of Modi’s policies, the victory of Modi’s magic, the victory of the Modi mantra. Be it Gen Z, women, or the elderly, everyone is with Modi.” Praveen Khandelwal, BJP MP from Chandni Chowk, said, “The NDA won in Bihar, the next target is Sonar Bengal.” Initial trends show the NDA, comprising the BJP, JDU, LJP (Ram Vilas), and HAM, has crossed the majority mark. Meanwhile, the Grand Alliance (RJD and Congress) appears to be lagging behind.
Prime Minister Modi is expected to address party workers at the BJP headquarters in Delhi at 6 p.m. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and other ministers have been on a continuous tour of Bihar for the Bihar Assembly elections. Under orders from the party leadership, they were overseeing the campaigning and management of various candidates.
