Several important decisions were made at the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Twelve proposals were approved in the meeting. A cabinet subcommittee will be formed to address the regularization and salaries of Uttarakhand Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation employees, which will submit its report within two months.
Job opportunities will also be available abroad through UPNL.
It was decided that jobs will now be available abroad through UPNL. Dependents of those who died in a disaster will receive five lakh rupees instead of four lakh rupees. Five lakh rupees will also be given if a permanent house is destroyed.
