A strong earthquake was felt at 2:42 pm in the areas bordering Bageshwar, including Tharali in Uttarakhand. However, this tremor was for a very short time. People came out of their houses due to the fear of the earthquake.
District Disaster Management Officer Nandkishore Joshi said that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Bageshwar district. Its stronger tremor was felt in Gwaldam.
