Bhagalpur/Araria: Amidst the first phase of voting in the 2025 Bihar elections, PM Modi addressed public meetings in Araria and Bhagalpur. From the stage, PM Modi appealed to the people gathered to give the NDA another chance. He also said that the results will be declared on November 14th, and the victory will be celebrated with curd-churma and makhana kheer.
PM Modi praised the youth of Bihar: PM Modi said in Araria that the first phase of voting is being held to develop Bihar. Amazing pictures are pouring in from different parts of Bihar on social media. Long lines have formed at polling stations since morning. There is unprecedented enthusiasm among the youth of Bihar.
PM Modi attacks RJD’s jungle raj: The PM told the people, “Today I tell you the power of your vote.” A single vote from your grandparents made Bihar a land of social justice. Then came the 90s, and Bihar was invaded by the RJD’s jungle raj. Power, cruelty, bitterness, bad manners, corruption, and misgovernance became the hallmarks of jungle raj.
‘Once again a government of good governance’: PM Modi said that today, a single voice resounds across Bihar: “Once again an NDA government, once again a government of good governance.” Behind this sentiment in Bihar are the hopes of mothers and sisters. Appealing to the youth, he said, “Keep this guarantee of Modi in writing: ‘Your dream is Modi’s resolution.'”
PM Modi targeted the opposition: At the rally, PM Modi targeted the opposition. He said that those who supported jungle raj called themselves your parents and considered themselves emperors, but this is Modi. “You, the people, are my parents. You are my master, you are my remote control.”
The PM accused the government of looting Bihar: “The development report of Bihar during the Jungle Raj is zero. For 15 years, from 1990 to 2005, this Jungle Raj devastated Bihar. In the name of running the government, you were only looted.” The PM said, “I am convinced that our mothers and sisters of Bihar have resolved to build a prosperous Bihar. We will not allow the return of Jungle Raj.”
Second Phase Voting in Araria: Araria has six assembly seats, including Forbesganj, Narpatganj, Sikti, Araria, Raniganj, and Jokihat. Voting for all six seats will take place in the second phase on November 11th. Counting of votes will take place on November 14th. PM Modi will simultaneously reach out to voters across Bihar.
