Vigilance action: Medical officer arrested red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 in Nainital

In Uttarakhand, today the Vigilance took a major action and arrested the Medical Officer of Nainital red-handed while accepting bribe. It is being told that the in-charge of CHC Nainital had demanded a bribe of twenty thousand rupees from the Nursing Officer posted at Adalikhal PHC in exchange for retaining her appointment at the PHC. The victim complained about this to the Vigilance. After which the trap team caught the officer red-handed while accepting bribe. Also, search and inquiry is going on at the residence of the accused regarding his movable and immovable property.
