A Scorpio car carrying wedding guests from Gumanivala to Nai village in Narendra Nagar fell into a 150-meter-deep ravine. Three people died on the spot and two are seriously injured. The accident was reported by a young man who fell into the ravine.
Inspector Pradeep Chauhan, in-charge of Muni Ki Reti police station, stated that the accident occurred around 8 p.m. on the Pavki Devi motor road. Five people were reportedly in the vehicle. Police and the SDRF arrived at the scene and began rescue operations. Teams remained at the scene at the time of writing. The deceased and injured are said to be from the Shyampur area, but their identities had not been established by nightfall.
On Wednesday, a wedding party from Gumanivala was traveling to Nai village in the Narendra Nagar development block. Five young men were traveling in a Scorpio. The vehicle crashed near Kundiya village, about 18 km from Gular, and fell into a 150-foot-deep ravine.
A young man in the vehicle informed his friend about the accident and also sent the location. After this, the young man’s mobile phone was switched off. Following the friend’s information, the police and SDRF arrived at the scene and began a rescue operation. Darkness posed significant difficulties in the rescue operation. SDRF Inspector Kavinder Sajwan stated that three people died in the incident, while two others were seriously injured
