New Delhi: Pakistan is once again plotting to spread terror in India. According to security agencies, jihadists of several Pakistan-based terror outfits and members of the Border Action Team (BAT) are trying to infiltrate with the intention of spreading unrest in Jammu and Kashmir. He has his eye on the areas along the Line of Control (LoC), especially in the Poonch and Rajouri sectors.
According to sources in security agencies, a high alert has been issued in the border areas to thwart any possible infiltration attempt from across the border.”Pakistan Army commandos and BAT teams consisting of members of various terror outfits are trying to infiltrate across the Line of Control in Poonch sector,” a senior official told .” In the last 15 days, two such attempts have been foiled due to the vigilance of Indian security agencies.
Citing intelligence reports, the official said two fedayeen groups were also in the process of infiltration in Poonch and Rajouri. BAT teams consisting of Pakistan’s Special Service Group (SSG) and activists from various groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HuM) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) conduct raids in Indian territory for five kilometres.
On Monday night, security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir foiled an infiltration attempt across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara. Two militants were killed in view of suspicious activities near Machil and Dudnial sectors.

The full name of BAT is Pakistan Border Action Team. It mainly works with six to seven Pakistani soldiers and some militants.
