Nine thousand government ration sellers in the state may receive a dividend increase before Diwali. Departmental Minister Rekha Arya has directed that the dividends under the National Food Security Act and the State Food Scheme be distributed equally.
According to Food Commissioner Chandresh Kumar, ration sellers in the state are demanding that the dividends under the State Food Scheme be equal to those provided by the Central Government. The Central Government is providing a dividend of โน180 per quintal, and the State Government is providing โน50 per quintal. The Food Commissioner’s office has submitted a proposal to the government for equal dividends, which will be decided at the government level. Meanwhile, Departmental Minister Rekha Arya has directed that the dividends received by government ration sellers under the State Food Scheme and the National Food Scheme be equal. If the proposal is approved by the government, ration sellers under the State Food Scheme will receive a dividend of โน180 per quintal, similar to the Central Government’s dividend.
This is the amount of dividend available under this scheme.
