The doors of Badrinath Dham will close on November 25th at 2:56 pm in the winter season. Panch Pujas will begin on November 21st. The doors of the second Kedar, Lord Madhyamaheshwar, will be closed on November 18th. The date was determined based on the calendar calculations at the Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath on the occasion of Vijayadashami.
On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, the date for closing the doors of Lord Tungnath in winter was determined based on the calendar calculations, with Vedic mantras being chanted in the temple premises. The departure to Devra will take place on November 5th, 2025. Following this, on November 6th, Baba’s doors will be closed to all devotees for the next six months.
On the same day, November 6th, the Doli will rest overnight at Chopta Nagak Sthan and arrive at Bhankun on November 7th. On November 8th, Baba’s Doli will enter the Tungnath Temple in Makku. Tungnath Mahotsav will be organised on the arrival of Baba.
