New Delhi: Preparations for programs on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday have intensified. The Prime Minister’s birthday on September 17 will be celebrated as Seva Pakhwada. During this time, a film related to Swami Vivekananda’s principles and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life will be shown in schools and cinema halls. Also, silent heroes of the society will be honored. The official statement said that the film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’ released in 2018 will be shown in schools between September 17 and October 2. Students will watch this film with silent heroes of the society like watchmen, sanitation workers, drivers, peons and others. After watching the film, ceremonies will also be organized to honor the silent heroes. The statement said that the film is inspired by an incident in the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is the story of young Naru, who is deeply influenced by Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy, tries to understand its meaning and tries to bring change in his small world. The film is a cinematic tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy of ‘Bas Wahi Jeete Hain, Jo Dunso Ke Liye Jeete Hain’.
The critically acclaimed film, one of the most-watched short films of 2018, will be screened in lakhs of schools and around 500 cinema halls across the country, the statement said. The initiative will effectively communicate the eternal message of selflessness and service to the new generation.
The film’s producer Mahaveer Jain said the short film reflects the eternal values of selflessness, empathy and duty towards the nation. Through this film, we hope to ignite a spark in the hearts of the youth, encouraging them to lead a purposeful life and make a positive contribution to society.
The film is directed by Mangesh Hadawale and produced by Aanand L Rai and Mahaveer Jain. The re-telecast of the film seeks to take that message further as a tribute to the Prime Minister’s inspirational life and philosophy. Screening of the film in schools is an important part of this initiative. So that the message of the film reaches the students and encourages them to live a purposeful life.
