Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi reached Rudrapur Collectorate today. Where he held a review meeting of district level officers of various departments of the district in APJ Auditorium. Before the meeting, Minister Ganesh Joshi paid tribute to Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant by offering flowers on his picture on the occasion of his birth anniversary in the Collectorate premises.
Reviewing the Public Works Department, District In-charge Minister Ganesh Joshi directed the Executive Engineer to complete all the works of ROB Kashipur soon by coordinating with the concerned departments. He instructed the concerned department to ensure that Maharana Pratap Chowk, the road from Kashipur to Ramnagar and other roads which have been damaged excessively, are repaired immediately after the monsoon. He instructed the Chief Development Officer to continuously monitor the works of NH and PWD so that there is no negligence at any level.
While reviewing the Electricity Department, the Minister instructed that the Executive Officer should ensure that hanging or dangling wires should be repaired immediately so that no accident of any kind occurs near public places, especially schools. Minister Joshi directed the Chief Development Officer to hold discussions with the public representatives in the proposal of the Development Authority. Minister Joshi reviewed the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme of the Government of India in detail. He directed the Superintending Engineer Drinking Water Corporation to instruct his subordinates to resolve the problems of laying pipelines and roads etc. and gave strict instructions to the contractors that negligence in work will not be tolerated.
Minister Joshi directed the Chief Development Officer to deduct one day’s salary of the District Supply Officer in-charge Vinod Chand Tiwari for not attending the meeting. He said that the Chief Development Officer should ensure that the payment under MNREGA is made on time. While reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Minister Ganesh Joshi instructed the concerned officer to ensure that the repair work of the damaged roads in the district during the year ends immediately after the monsoon season ends and get the work videographed and shown. Along with this, the Honorable Minister reviewed other departments including garden, Amrit Sarovar, Jal Sansthan.
On this occasion, District Panchayat Chairman Ajay Maurya, MLA Shiv Arora, Tilak Raj Behad, Mayor Vikas Sharma, Deepak Bali, Minister of State rank Uttam Dutta, District General Secretary BJP Amit Narang, Chief Development Officer Divesh Shashani, Additional District Magistrate Kaustubh Mishra, Project Director DRDA Himanshu Joshi, DDO Sushil Mohan Doval, DSTO Nafeel Jameel, along with all district level officers and public representatives were present.
