Half a dozen principals under the Higher Education Department have been given new postings in postgraduate colleges after departmental promotion. After the approval of the departmental minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, orders for new postings have also been issued from the government level. After their promotion, half a dozen postgraduate colleges of the state have got permanent principals.
DPC was organized at the government level last month for the principals of government colleges, after which the list of principals who got promotion by the government has been sent to the departmental minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat for approval. As soon as the approval of the departmental minister was received, the government has also issued orders for new postings to the promoted principals in postgraduate colleges. Under which Dr. Ram Avtar Singh has been made the principal of Government Postgraduate College Karnaprayag, Dr. Vibhesh Kumar Singh of Government Postgraduate College Bajpur, Dr. Madhulika Pathak of PG College Kapkot, Premlata Kumari of PG College Narayanbagh, Dr. Awadhesh Narayan of PG College Rudrapur and Dr. Rita Sharma of PG College Pokhari. All of them have been directed to join their new posting within a week and provide their joining report to the Government.
