Former Cabinet Minister and senior Congress leader Dr Harak Singh Rawat has alleged that Pauri and Srinagar are being neglected by the BJP government. He said that Pauri is the divisional headquarters but along with the commissioner, divisional level officers do not sit here, due to which people have to face huge difficulties.
He said that Srinagar is not developing the way it should have, whatever development has taken place has happened during the time of Congress. He said that the establishment of medical college, central university, tehsil here also happened during the time of Congress.
