Vikasnagar: 11 workers got trapped due to rising water level of Yamuna river near Badhwala Sadhna Kendra Ashram of Vikasnagar Dakpathar, who were rescued and evacuated safely by SDRF. SDRF’s Dakpathar team received information that some workers were stranded in the river near Badhwala Sadhna Kendra Ashram.
On receiving the information, the team immediately left for the spot. Due to rising water level of the river, a tractor along with some workers was stranded in the middle of the river. SDRF started a quick rescue operation with the help of local police. 11 workers trapped in the middle of the river were safely evacuated. These workers included four women and seven men. The spot is being continuously monitored by the team.
