According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in some areas of Pauri, Bageshwar and Nainital districts including Dehradun. 233 roads closed in the state, time not decided when they will open
233 roads are closed in the state due to debris after rain, according to Rajesh Sharma, Chief Engineer of Public Works Department, efforts are being made to open the closed roads soon. According to him, two national highways, 11 state highways, seven main district roads, two other district roads and 77 rural roads are closed. Uttarkashi district has the highest number of 44 closed roads. While 22 roads are closed in Pauri, 19 in Tehri, 42 in Chamoli, 28 in Rudraprayag, 12 in Dehradun, four in Haridwar, 25 in Pithoragarh, 21 in Almora, five in Bageshwar, six in Nainital and five in Udham Singh Nagar
